She is growing up...15months

Madison had her 15 month check up today at the doctor. She is the only one of my children who hates going to the doctor. She loves the waiting room and playing in there, but when the nurse calls our name it all goes down hill. Usually the nurse looks at Madison and says something to her like, "How are you doing today?" Which Madison starts crying immediately as if I was taking her to get her fingernails pulled out. (sorry for the image) The nurse then responds like "oh no she's not very happy today." I'm thinking, she was happy until you talked to her and will be fine after we leave. We make it through the height, weight, temperature and the must do head measurement....it was kind of like wrestling a bull except this bull can also scream. The nurse leaves the room and says the doctor will be right in.....great. Madison is perfectly fine with me, we are playing games and waving at each other in the mirror. Until we hear a little knock at the door and in walks the doctor. Madison immediately starts to cry. I love our pediatrician, she is awesome! She said something like along the lines of, Oh Madison you just don't like it here....quite the understatement. She tries to talk to her throughout the exam, Madison doesn't care for any of her tactics...she would prefer to be playing elsewhere. I told the doctor that at least one of my children were bound to hate going to the doctor. Mayah and Mason are pros and have always been awesome for the doctors, Mayah got all of her school shots without a peep (I'm not exaggerating). Madison is making up for their trips to the doctor. So after the doctor was all done (and probably sick of the screaming) the nurse came in to give the vaccinations. Madison was actually pretty good when the nurse walked in until I had to lay her on the table and put her in the figure four leg lock for her shots. Thankfully the shots don't take too long and I quickly picked her up to love on her. Whew...we were done. Score one for team mom. Madison checked out great and no problems. So with some prayer hopefully we can make it to the 18 month check without having to go back for other issues :)
