The Summer went tooo fast!!!

It's that time of year when I start to get a pit in my stomach thinking about sending the kids back to school. The school supplies are all bought, cool new outfits are purchased and nice new shoes are tried out by running around the house. I loved "back to school" time as a kid, but as a mom...um not so much. I love having my kids home. No schedules and just having fun, no pressure, vacations and lots of fresh air and playing. I don't want them to grow up this fast!! I can't believe that my little Mayah is now a second grader and my sweet little Mason is in kindergarten! I'm going to miss days that we can just do this....


I love that they are growing and learning but do they have to do it so fast. We had such a fun summer with swimming lessons, vacations, family visits, softball games, eating sweet corn like this


Miss Madison is going to miss her playmates so much! She has had all kinds of fun hanging out with her big sister and brother. She thinks she can do everything they do and doesn't want to miss a thing. We will miss our summer vacations where we did fun things like this....



So tonight we go to school to meet the new teachers and bring in all of the supplies. Tomorrow we go to a kindergarten night and then school starts Wednesday morning. A new year to learn, make friends, go on field trips, hear about all the things they did, and listen to the first experiences that Mason is having.

We will miss you summer but look forward to the things God has in store for the next year!!
